A well fitted Woman's Suit will look good, Keep your hair not too tight or too loose, Avoid Hair Oil,little make up is needed no oily r dry face, Choose your Lipsticks in Light color, Wear a Formal shoes Matching your Suit.

Don't use Bindi's of any kind (sorry if u r one who uses it as a custom) But its not appreciated.

AVOID asking them to repeat their questions, so concentrate on wat is asked, Don't keep shaking your leg's r arms . B Relaxed and answer what's appropriate.

You are going for an Interview make sure your papers are in order.I don't think they even bother to look as to what your wearing as long as its decent.You should feel confident that's the kind of cloth you should wear and not something to impress someone

anything that u r comfortable in, preferably western. they dont hand out visas on the basis of dress.

wear a formal derss.. nothing too bright or too dull... the interviewer should get pleased by looking at you.

a little make up is suggested, again dont over-do it.

it will be better if you buy some formal dress which suits corporates from any mall at chennai.

you can try sarees, but remember u r going to america.interviever may not like this.
