Usually I always rely on maps. Be it in the US or here in Germany The last time I askd for directions was abt 4 months back.
Firstly, before going to this new place, I did some research on the net for its address and map/directions.
Secondly to confirm certain facts, I called up the University where I was going (In Germany).. but since there was no help in english..I ventured out on my own with my map.
Also asked face to face there to find the right persons office..
there ya go.. and theres NOTHING wrong in asking for directions, I gladly help people who ask me,
It helps confusion and saves wastage of time, as some ppl claim to say "REAL MEN dont ask for directions.." I know many men incl My husband whod rather die than asking for help, but i have always been right when I asked him to take ask, and he never did, and we'd end up wasting a lot of fuel and time :p.. definitely not worth it.. the ego I mean.. be practical people!
so never hesitate in exporing any option which is the most feasible.
P.S: Maps wont help much in India, here the best bet is face-to face,ask ppl on the way- as phone gets confusing and is also an offence 2 talk while driving, unless u pull over, which is not very feasible in India in some parts.. |

but if don't have any idea ...u better check out the map..or wikimapia.com
or u can even ask ppl on a famous landmark which is situated close to it!!! |
