There is a vast development economically and industrially in the past one decade. India it set to become the first in IT and BPO operation. In all sectors there is enormous development.

I feel in the next one decade of by 2020 India will be fully developed in all respects. -

India is not a third world nation anymore. However as to when it will become a developed nation - well, it depends on when we get off our a**es and work towards it. Dreaming and making vision statements is all very good, but unless people work towards that this will be impossible.

The day we see people behaving in a cultured fashion. Where there are no bandhs or hartals. where people from neighbouring states do not try to make skull heaps with their neighbours heads over water, thats when we will be truly developed

if we get to treasury account all the ill gotten and black money available in the country that is sufficient to make India developed overnight

INDIA WILL NEVER BECOME A DEVELOPED COUNTRY. My reason is: to be a developed country you need to have drinking water in the taps which is not going to happen and development is not going to happen. As a Tamilian I respect APJ Abdul Kalam but his dream of India being a developed country by 2020 is after all a dream and dreams never come ture. next Question please!

I think it is a well developed country in parts of it.
When all the development spreads to the majority of the 1 billion then India will be a developed country as a whole (2020)
