When we Indians change our attitude. Frankly I don't see it happening in the near future.
India has everything in terms of resources, best brains, natural beauty, history, culture..... everything. what we lack in is civic sense, moral responsibility, ethics, honesty, respect for our nation, respect for what India stands for. We lack all this and much more. If we Indians work towards changing ourselves we'll shoot into the developed nation category in supersonic speed. |

When we, the people make a move it will be developed! But I am hoping that when the GDP per capita has been increased to about 10 fold of what it is now, than India will be under a better position. So I am hoping that about 2030-2040 people will start seeing an India that is more politically and economically stable and secure! |

FYKI: It is already developed. we have produced the best brains in the world, and are already doing without a large chunk of them. that is developed. ur definition of "developed" might mean different, but once such questions are ceased to be asked it will be ratified as a develpoed country...
Think:
why does thw whole world have indians around them, with superior brain?
Why has U.S tried for a Nuke deal with us?
Why is India economically booming?
Why did Mumbai stand united after the bombings?
People have prode for the country...the brain drain is decreasing!!
