The best time to go to India is November to February though you should remember because of its vastness it varies from region to region.On the Northern Plains March to May it is hotting up temperatures inland at this time can be over 40degrees, it's time to retreat to the hill stations. The Himalayan hill stations are at their best at this time..The monsoons sweep in from the south west, but the South.east regions are also affected from mid october to December.In the South the Hill Station of Ooty is worth a visit as is Kodikanal 44 hairpin bends to the top but a pleasant climate in the hot season with the odd spectacular thunderstorm
