Thre will be some Govt. Tourist places for stay.

If you want to go now, I guess this is an off-season- so you can go to any tourist spot and enjoy both half price and peace. But by Mya, the summer vacation will begin and then it won't be so lonely. Some quiet places are Simlipal(in Orissa), any small town in the Garhwals like Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Devaprayag etc.

if you realy want to go then you should go to nanital. it is very peaceful place and there by near so many places to visit.and as this off season the rent of house will also be less. there climate is very good.i am shure that u will like that place very much

You can go to backwaters, rent a room or book into a tourist lodge... Backwaters are preferable to beaches, coz, the former is less frequented... also cost of living and food will be cheaper; You can spend the whole day lying on the banks of the rivers; Look for backwaters in Kerala: check out: www.travel-kerala.com/ke-bac.htm

Hill stations might not be a good option for someone from Hyderabad looking for rest and peace; All the best!!!

My personal suggesion is, you should go to TAPOVAN...its a place near Gaumukh (The origin of ganga) and this the right time to visit there. Lots of saints Mahatmas go there for Meditation and in search of GOD. Your route will be via Delhi>>Haridwar>>Rishikesh>>Tihri>>Uttar...
You'll feel like you are in heaven and god is infront of you. The place is full of nature and all natural beauties, The Peaks of Great Himalaya, Waterfalls, Birds, Springs of hot waters.......everything to ignite your body n soul.

go to kerala have an arrangement with home stay where it would be cheap and you have many homes sea view and also you can get accommodation in hill stations.i have a friend who can arrange from hyd if you need contact me i can give his telephone number.
