Where does the Kumbh Mela happen and how do i get there? Will I really get lost there?
Every six years there is an Ardh or half Mela at Allahabad. This year 2007 it is being celebrated at Allahabad. The actual dates are dependent on stellar constellations and will be announced nearer to the time. It is already started and the mela will be going on for some more days. There will be lot of crowd attending but there is no fear of getting lost. So you can visit immediately.-

Kumbh mela is celebrated in 04 differnt places in India. It is every after 12 years .
1. Kashi Prayag Alahabad, Ganga River . 2. Nashik , Godavari river . Rest I do not remember.
Its a crowd of more than 10 lakhs. There are chances of small childs who cant explain their addresses - may be lost. But, a matured person who do not want To be lost, will not be lost.

Its in Allahabad like every other year. The crowd is enormous and crowd control is poor. It is not advisable to take little kids unless you carry them with you. Also easy to be separated from you partner or friend so be careful. Mobile helps and wearing a conspicuous clothing also helps to find one another.
Enjoy the mela.

It happens at allahabad on the bank of the river ganges. You will not really get lost -- if you go alone. mostly children get lost in the crowd and are unable to find their parents.
