Goa is the safest place right now and even in december to go on a holiday with your baby and family. Dont even try going to New Delhi or any place in the North in december. I went there last winter and all that I got from going there was a cold. There is almost no life in the north during the winter, It sux. The climate is so chilly. The streets are empty and they look haunted with the mist forming because of the dew in the air and people don't even come out of their homes after 7 in the evening.
Dont try any place in the South either, since the southern states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu are reeling from the epidemics of Dengue fever and Chikungunya virus right now, which is due to the unhyegenic living conditions over there and also the pollution in the water and air.

With usual precautions for a baby's well being, it will be OK to travel anywhere. If you do not like the cold weather, northern India may not be the place to visit. In that case, you can try Kerala, Kodaikanal, Ooty or Goa. Mumbai has a very temperate climate with not too much temperature variations even in winter, but it is a big metropolis and unless you feel comfortable with your baby in a big city, I would avoid it.

december would be cold in the northern parts of india. so better not to expose a baby to that. u could visit the western or the southern parts of india as the winter isn't so severe there. u could check the net for sites to visit depending on what u would like to see....sand, beaches, historical monuments etc

i'd say Goa - but avoid the livlier resorts - as they get MAD during December!!! i would recommend South Goa - NOT north Goa...unless you want banging clubs , PACKED streets and beaches...and generally frustrating time with a baby....the south is much more peaceful :-)

India isnt safe with or without a baby. Minimum Security Jail is safer. Yes, Ive been to india. Ive also been to africa, easter eurpoe, russia and japan to name a few. India is more unsafe than mexico.

Lets just say you have a good chance of coming back sick. from the food, water, air, plane travel, and for a baby???

Visit Kerala.Its winter you better not to travel in north india.South is the better choice and especially Kerala or Goa.
