otty toy train is going there from metruplyum.it is wonderfull jourtey. on other side of otty karnatak state border starts. so from that side u can go banglore hardly 3 hrs .run. reguler bus services r available

Ooty is near to Coimbatore. You can reach Coimbatore and take a Government / Private Bus to Ooty. or Reach Mettupalayam by Train and take a narrow gauge train to reach Udagamandalam.
Kodaikanal is near Madurai. Reach Madurai and take a Government / Private Bus to Kodaikanal or Reach Kodai Road by Train and take a bus to Kodaikanal.
In Mettupalayam and Kodai road, you will be mobbed by Taxi Drivers. Please do not fall into their web. They are good enough to make your purse lean.
