The Taj Mahal is in the town of Agra, north of New Delhi in India. It is accessible by plane but we went by car which is fairly hair raising. It is definitely one of the greatest wonders of the world. During the daylight the marble is white and in the moonlight it turns pink and the millions of semi-precious stones embedded in the marble shine. They do not shine in the sun! After the mausoleum was built the constuction workers were killed so they were not allowed to build another thus making this edifice unique.
