Not only dowry but the increasing confidence and attitude factor too is bringing some adjustment problems. some guys may take it wrongly and some girls too use it wrongly.

May be but for bridal death in india dowry is the main reason and it is sad, how can somebody distroy the other half part of life which even nature protects in other species.

While there may be many cases of divorce related to dowry, that is not the only reason for divorce. There are many other reasons also for divorce.

hey.... i dont think only dowry is the main reason for the divorce ,when we want to live we have to live at any circumstances, "where there is a wil, there is a way" one should have patience and the braveness to face what ever comes in our path ,now days parents marry them in very ages , their brain is not matured and their parents shlould make their childrens to earn their livelyhood by doing some work so that they dont depend on others and in case their is a difference in the opp person they can tell good bye and live a good life,the children should live in a good envionment,with lot of love and affection from the parents , parents mean a lot in a girls life ,this is truly my opionon

Dowry is not the main cause of divorces.
a divorce could take place because of several different things, like affairs, arguments, abuse, etc.
Dowry could be A cause, but not THE cause.

Maharaja Dalip Singh Ji, dowry is NOT the main cause of divorces in India, what ever the cause remains understandings, extra marital affairs, old love stories, or so on.
There are reasons where actual or real reasons are not disclosed as they seem to be shameful to disclose, its only DOWRY matter with the help of which the Groom side could be harassed to utmost and it needs no witnesses or major proofs, only an alegation is sufficient.

MY COMMENTS ARE ONLY MY PERSONAL VIEWS, WHICH IS THE TRUTH IN ABOUT 80% DIVORCE CASES, ITS OUR BAD LUCK THAT THERE ARE STILL REASONS OF DIVORCE BECAUSE OF DOWRY WHICH IS ABOUT 20%.

That's not the actual reason for divorces.
It's just an excuse for the woman to shape a good ground for divorce and hence compensation.
