Which Delhi railway station is closest to Gurgaon?
I'm planning to book a train ticket on irctc and was stumped by the sheer number of railway stations in Delhi I have no clue about. Actually my final destination is Gurgaon and was just wondering which railway station in Delhi (NDLS,DLI,etc.) would be closest.
Direct connectivity from my departure place to Gurgaon is out of question. Also, not all trains go to all of the stations in Delhi.
Help me out before irctc starts showing up WLs :)
Also, if someone can tell me what would be the best/cheapest way to travel between Gurgaon and Noida, that would be great.
New delhi station is covinient for all practical purposes if someone is coming from faroff place to delhi for the 1st time.
to reach gurgaon (30 km from new delhi rly stn) ,hire a pre -paid taxi from a traffic police help booth located just outside new delhi railway station. u can do same for Noida too.
Gurgaon itself has a railway station on delhi -rewari- jaipur line.I M LIVING IN GURGAON . INCASE NEED HELP PLZ MAIL SWEETCORNCAPRI2412@HOTMAIL.COM

delhi sarai rohilla (dee) is the nearest and almost all train go to gurgaon .

We have lots of local stations in delhi. But Tughlakab is just 16 kms away from Gurgaon border. Bt there is no guarantee of train stopping. So better if you choose the station New Delhi or Hazrat Nizammudin. There is only one option to go from Gurgaon to Noida and it is the bus. YOu can get direct bus to Noida from Gurgaon border means Lado Sarai. The route number is 34. Delhi government 34 number buses are good to travel. No direct train available for Noida from Gurgaon.

delhi cantt. station is the closest to Ggn, in case u r looking for long distance travel then the closest is NDLS ( New Delhi Station)
