Cityscape does contribute to the fact how beautiful a city actually is, but another important thing which matters is the city's inner beauty. Mumbai might be home to some of the world's largest slums, but there is something in Mumbai that more than meets the eye.
You can find half a dozen cities which have huge numbers and a municipal corporation to boot which messes things up on a grand scale. But this is the only one in India which has the true urban spirit that has left behind the laidback imprecision of dehat and gives you professional value for money with a phlegmatic nonchalance that none else can.
My love affair with Mumbai has remained unconsummated as I have never been able to work there; something I always wanted. So, I use every chance to step back and savor its charm -- watch the frenetic commuters rush by -- which came my way again on an easy paced visit to attend a family wedding.
To end, a city's beauty is not defined by its highways, parks, scenic landscape and/or skyscrapers but by the people who live in it. For me, Mumbai's beauty lies in its people and culture. But again, beauty is a relative term and its definition differs with every person. |

The most beautiful city in India would be a very very subjective answer indeed.
Every Indian is bound by the prejudices deep inside him which will make him to overlook the ugliness of his native city and see thru the non existent beauty of his fond city to come fore.
Hence don't be surprised to see a Chennaite backing Chennai, a Hydrabadian backing Hydrabad and a Delhiwalah rooting for New Delhi. It is tough to get a true and honest answer from anyone..!!!
My personal opinion therefore is the Best and beautiful City according to me is none other than the City of Pune. Situated in the sahayadri mountains and the deccan plateau, it is indeed fondly called as the Queen of the Deccan and also the Oxford of the east.
Therefore Its Pune according to me which is the most beautiful city. |

i believe that Ajmer(raj) is the most beautiful city of India. Ajmer is a beautiful city and it's called the heart of rajasthan. a city became beautiful not just for the beauty. well i born in ajmer and i never find any bad thing about it. everyone respect each other and living in peace and with love. |

I feel that Shimla is the most beautiful city in India as far as I have seen, I like the climate. The hills are very adventurous and the chill and mist are most enthralling to me. But Bengalooru gives the best competition, if Bengalooru would have been cold all the times then I would have chosen Bengalooru. |
