google kerala tourism, so that u can get so many travel information. If u love cities, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Thrissur and Calicut will be good. If nature, munnar, thekkady, wayanad, Alleppey will be good. Munnar is hill station. Thekkady contains reserved wildlife sanctuary. Wayanad is tremendously beautiful with it's nature. Alleppey contains nice backwaters, this district is known as Venice of East. Thrissur is known as the cultural capital of Kerala. If u like to visit temples, some of the famous temples are, Guruvayoor in Thrissur disctirct, Sabarimala, Anantha Padmanaabha Swami temple in Trivandrum and a lot more. If u like to visit churches, cochin will be good. If u like to visit Mosques, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kasaragod will be good. Kovalam is famous for beach. Bekal fort in Kasaragod and Sultan Bathery in Wayanad are famous forts. Really Kerala is a small state, which is full of scenic beauty and much more. U can choose places according to ur taste. |

Dear Friend
Better to chose the locations by your taste, and not by advice from others.
If you wish to be in hill stations or wild life, Silent Valley in Palakkad Dist, Parambikkulam in Palakkad Dist, Wayanadan Forests, Munnar, Devikulam, Thekkady in Idukky Dist; Ponmudy in Trivandrum Dist etc are the most wanted places.
If you wish to be in Beaches, Varkkala, Poovar, Kovalam, Aakkulam, Shangumugham in Trivandrum Dist; Bakel Beach in Kasaragod Dist; Payyambalam, Tellichery etc in Kannur Dist; Kappad & Kozhikkode in Kozhikkode Dist; Chavakkad in Trichur Dist; Mattanchery, Fort Kochi, Munambam, etc in Ernakulam Dist; and few in other places also.
If you wish to be a trip by Backwaters, prefer Kumarakam, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, etc, and dont forget to have a trip in house boat.
If you wish to see the forts and monuments in Kerala, must to see Tellichery Fort, Kannur Fort, Bakel Fort (most wanted), Palakkad Fort, Mattanchery Synagogues, Trivandrum Old monuments etc...
Thusharagiri in Kozhikkode Dist, and Athyrappilly in Trichur Dist are the most viewing waterfalls.
You can club these all / few of these locations in a single stretch.
if you need a detailed tour plan, just send a message to me, I will do, without a single penny of charges.
Best of Luck & Have a great trip
Thx |
