It depends on the career you want to make. What is the job profile? Do you like both of them , evaluate your choices. Think of options that you have pursuing each of the options. Do a SWOT analysis. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
As for the company you work for, the bigger the company the more training and process maturity that your learn. The smaller the organization, you have width of choice. This is something that is important if you are looking at growth prospects.
As for the companies, they are in similar space ranging from consulting to BPO services. Cognizant is a larger organization and has revenues in excess of 2 billion USD and is nearly double the size of Keane. With the recent partnership with T-Systems on the SI (Systems Integration) business they may leverage this for further forays into Europe.
Run through your options, ask questions to the HR about your prospects, take the one which is nearer to your heart. The more you love your job, the more you would do well, and money follows automatically when you do well :-)

it depends on the domain. probably keane has its openings only in testing (i came to know this in their pre placement talk during our campus placements) so if cogni offers you in a better domain then go for it. all the best

I feel Caritor has more scope that Cognizant because already these two companies have proved their presence in the market.
Caritor has acquired Keane and has converted its name under that.
It has good propsects as far as I know and my friend is also going to join in that company very soon.
