My friend I am sure you want an experience that you can remember for life. Also it is not just a site seeing trip, you are planning for your honeymoon.

Between the two, I will highly recommend Manali. The weather is pleasant, infact on the cooler side (Max 10 degrees C and Minimum 3 degrees C). You have lovely waterfalls, snow capped mountains. If you go to Rohtang, you can do skiing and snow sports... You are going to love this trip for life.. Munnar might not be able to offer this to you.

So, I recommend Manali for your honeymoon!!!

Manali may be snow bound and too cold whereas Munnar is ideal in Feb with sunny day time and cold nights. You can explore and trek in the shola forests without too many leeches due to the cooler weather, the Pambadum Shola sanctuary at Top Station offers guided treks at cheap rates on site. Chinnar sanctuary beyond Marayoor is also good for treks to Thoovanam falls and ancient rock paintings.

munnar will be warmer. manali will be colder. but manali will be LESS crowded in the winter. it's beautiful up there in the winter, plus you can go to the hotsprings in vashisht. i like a colder honeymoon, then you can warm up together.

Munnar is in kerala south of India and Manali in Himachal north of India. Both are excellent hill station Munnar is the best of south famous for its Tea gardens. They can not be compared boith are excellent.Manali will be cold while Munnar will be pleasant.Manali is more crowded while Munnar will be less.
