Having visited ALL the big cities of India, I am of the opinion that Chandigarh is the best city to live in India! My reasons:
# Neat & clean!
# Excellent network of roads!
# Good climate!
# Well connected by air and train!
# Unlike other big Indian cities, Chandigarh is the city of the future! it will be livable even after 50 years, by which time others big cities would have possibly choked.
# Has good marketing , educational and other facilities
# Excellent medical, recreational and job opportunities
# Proximity to hill stations of Himachal Pradesh.
# Minimal political interfernce!
# Safe, in comparson to other Indian megapolis |

if you can afford it, you can find some preeeeeetty nice apartments in Mumbai. I wouldn't live in Calcutta based off some things i hear. I don't think Banglore would be too bad. Delhi is ok. not really sure about Chennai and Pune. |
