Trust me! i went into all these places, and suggest all people to go.
For your honeymoon :
If you like Hillstation with snow and flowers and have 7 days in your hand : Goto Gangtok via Darjeeling. Spend more time in Gangtok, try to visit a 2 days trip to Yumthang in Gangtok.. you will never want to come back.
If you like Sea, I should suggest only GOA, 2nd Puri, 3rd Kerela beaches.
If you like to spend 20-40K for the visit.. go and explore Lakswadeep... It is a challenge for places like maldives and mauritius as per the island beauty is concern.
If you like deserts, only way is to goto Rajasthan.
If you like to be in a boat on water, visit kerela backwaters trip.

I visited so much but nothing like the summer capitol of India.
I am single even than I found it best.
