"Indira Point" is the southern most tip of India.
It is situated in Great Nicobar island and 141 Km north of Sumatra ( Indonesia).
The devastating tsunami of 24th December 2004 affected the the whole Indian Territory a lot. It destroyed the whole power station in indira point but could not affect the lighthouse.
So Till now the southern tip of India is Still " Indira Point"
