Punjab!!!!!!! It not only is where the golden temple is located, but there is also a tremendous amount of history, particularly since the state was cut when pakistan came along.
Everyone indian knows that punjab is the best (whether they want to admit it or not) because the culture is rich, everyone likes to just kick back an enjoy life, the food is delicious, and the people are the best looking! The breadbasket of india just knows how to live their life!

It is surely the most educated state KERALA.
It has literacy peoples. Women are more educated than any other state. It is a calm place to live without terrorism. Every five years they change their govt by proper voting without any unwanted incidents. In most the other states, terrorism plays a major role.

Andaman & Nicobar islands are best because of their scenic beauty, but A&N is Union Terriotry, Sikkim is best state, mountains, pleasant weather, no pollution, scenic beauty etc. The best state to live isDelhi as it gives you best medical facilities, best education, jobs, recreation facilities etc. but it is highly polluted, expensive, no law & order, congested roads, niose pollution, undiciplined people etc. Chhatisgarh is the best state to start new business as it is relatively new state with high resources and is still developing.
