Sampu, I assume you are from Mira-Bhayander area. If you are already in Mira-Bhayander then you know how fast Mira Road is developing and already you know that Orchid Ozone Mall would be India's biggest Mall (all Miraroadites and Dahisarites know that). Apart from a few problems like boarding a train during morning and evening rush hours, Mira Road is the best place to stay with fresh air (water not a problem nowadays as was in the past), low housing rates and all the facilities which Mumbai has (electricity, telephones etc.). While someone has said Navi Mumbai as the option but there the power shutdowns are much higher. Mira Road hasn't got a single power cut during the entire decade (thanks to Reliance) except during heavy showers or so. And Navi Mumbai is much costlier than Mira Road. People are talking about Navi Mumbai airport and shifting there but the main Mumbai airport is under renovation and is only 45 minutes drive from Mira Road (after completion of all the WEH flyovers). Moreover to travel from Navi Mumbai to main suburban or South Mumbai it takes more time than what it does from Mira Road. Also consider completion of Metro Rail which will be completed in 2020 or so and will be touching Mira Road at Dahisar Check Naka on East side. I WOULD PREFER MIRA ROAD IN ANY CASE SAMPU.

Bandra West, Worli and Mahalakshmi is definetely the best areas to live in. You may also consider Cuffe Parade, Nepean Sea Road and Peddar Road. These locations are very very expensive to buy or rent an apartment. A decent 2BHK flat would cost you upwards of 3 crores.
Andheri is also good though the rates are lower than the ones mentioned above. Your choice should depend on the location of your business office or work location combined with your financial ability.

The rest of the areas are suburban areas and also good. the real estate rates in these location are comparatively much lower

its andheri ofcourse!!!
especially andheri west...its got every single thing u need...3 Mc Donalds,3 different malls-all are aweosmeeeeeeee and a bigggggg lokhandwala market to buy clothes...we also got andheri sports complex where many events happen...them the chitrakoot grounds...and soooo many other things yaar...cant tell all of them in one go...

according to me.....all the places in mumbai hv high rental fees and are very expensive.....so...all the middle class families are heading towars thane...its cheap...but its prices are increasing in a very fast rate...if u buy a flat noiw....after few months u will get the double amount of the same house if u sell it.,.....and thane is also not very polluted and its even very well developed with malls...multiplexes etc...so go for THANE

Thanks for your tips, There are two types of people . i. Who can live anywhere in Bombay.2. Who cannot live in Bombay. If you want to live any place is a good place, it is beautiful Bombay, it transformed me from an ordinary person in to a professional and then to a Director. People do not relax in Bombay , they just work irrespective of the place they live in. All the places you have selected are good. But have you hit a lottery or found favours with Dhoni or Malya or Zentha? They are very expensive places. Where you live is not important, what you do is important in Bombay.

who are U to give options. If u want some information and want to ask a question say please. dont order/ and , by the way, Mumbai has no best areas any more. if someone wants to live ina posh and CLEAN are he/she should go to Navi Mumbai, Vashi etc and not in Greater Mumbai
