People who dnt know a thing say noida is pathetic..... In my life I have lived in mostly all the metros of India as well small towns.... and there is no place as convenient and planned as NOIDA ..... It has all the charm of Delhi and yet it is much better planned than most cities... yes true u have power issue but these days most aptts have power back up . yes it will cost a little....
The residential areas r great mostly has a shopping area nearby... roads r broad n no such traffic jams .... and the malls n multiplexes r the best in th country...
but yes one thing i hate abt delhi n noida is the extreme climate..... |

Chandigarh and Panchkula are cool places to stay in .Noida does have Big Malls and Companies , but in terms of Security, Power situation it is not that good. But you can manage there if you have good money. |

i would seriously consider Pune as the best city to live in-weather wise, people wise, proximity to bombay, safe for women and a great mix of urban and traditional.
btw incase you are in the vicinity of delhi, noida is certainly better than g'gaon, faridabad, gaziabad or any other place. it has very good roads, a well developed system of markets, rentals are going up, land prices are shooting and whatnot. and the best is, incase you are a dog person, it has the greatest number of pet enthusiasts, including vets, pet-shops and other pet owning families. plus it has access from at least three/four different sides of delhi.
you can get everything in noida. even fountains, something water starved delhi doesnt have any more. you still have the options to buy land or apartment and oh boy is it spacious?! you just got to live there awhile and check out for yourself. oh yes one thing you need is a very reliable vehicle of your own. |

Chandigarh is the best city to be in...NOIDA is mini chandigarh!! you'll like it there, I lived for 18 yrs there..saw it coming up from scratch..now its a gr8 city..but be particular bout sector, I 'd recommend Sec-21(my parents are still there) /sector 25/ 28/29/37/62/63/51 |

The best city in India is Hyderabad. It is very safe. People don't cheat too much. Many Hindi speaking people live in Hyderabad comfortably. You don't even need to know the native language. Even Kerala is very good. |
