Delhi was always better off in terms of infra, but the 2010 Commonwealth Games has only given it a bigger impetus for further infrastructure development. Lots of new hotels coming up; the metro has expanded its reach; high speed bus corridor is in place too as are a lot of other new initiatives. Airport is under renovation, and close to completion; latest I heard was that the New Delhi railway station is also being upgraded to one of an international standard.
