Difficult to name any one as both are beautiful serene places.

Ooty is the capital of Nilgiri district, is popularly known as the "Queen of hill stations' among the tourist circuits. Places to visit are Botanical Garden, Doddabetta, Coonoor spots like Dolphins Nose, Pykara Falls and Paye Mund, Ooty Rose gardens and many more.

Kodaikanal, or Kodai as it s better known, is a quiet hill station at an altitude of 2,195 m, on the southern ridge of the Palani hills in Tamil Nadu. is popular amongst the locals as well as other tourists and has earned the nickname of "Princess of Hill Stations". Places to visit are the star-shaped Kodai Lake, Bryant Park, Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks, Bear Shola Falls, Silver Cascade, Fairy Falls, Glen Falls etc.,
Hope this is helpful to decide the best among the two.
