ooty, kodaikannel in tamil nadu
manglore, jog, sirsi etc in karanataka
i dont know about north but u can go to

Visit an uncrowded place. Kalmatia Sangam Resort in Almora is one.
I recently visited Deogarh in Lalitpur, UP. I think you should take a day out for this too. Deogarh has everything to it - a River just below the Hill, Temples, Caves, Shrines and beautiful weather.

There are many romantic places for honeymoon in India. It depends on you in which part of India you want to go ie North, South, East, West.
I think Shimla, Manali, ooty, Mussoorie, Srinagar, Munnar and Goa is the best places.
