South India has thousands of years of history and as many beautiful temples. People are mostly orthodox and a safe place for teens. Climate in South Karnataka is good and the hill station :Ooty is a place where all feel comfortable.
But any where you go beware of cheats and pick pocketeers.
These days, luggage of Tourists is disappearing from top of hired vehicles and buses specially around Bangalore n Mysore.
