GOA is the best..There are good places to stay and visit and its lots of fun..Goa climate is relaxed and lovely.. india is giant with everything you could imagine. that's like saying what's your favorite food. i'd say pizza, but i wouldn't want to leave out chocolate cake.

the himalaya in the north are spectacular. the beaches in the south are amazing. the deserts in the west are romantic. the ancient temple towns and peaceful hill stations are lovely. the big cities are bustling. whatever you prefer, you can find it there.

It depends on what you want to see. If you intrested in metro go to Mumbai. Beach GOA. Hill station Himchal Pradesh. If you to see temple go to Chennai. If you want visit Hi tech place go to Bangalore.
If you want to see the more india in less time. Take train journey from North to South especially the Rajadhani Express.

Very difficult to answer as India is a land so diverse in culture, traditions, geography, etc. right from the north to the south and east to the west.

I wouldn't be doing justice in promoting any one place in particular but if you want to come to Goa on the west coast and enjoy it for what it is and has and you need any more info on this state, then contact me.....

I would like to add that there are different times of year best suited to visiting any place in India as weathers widely vary from one place to the other.
