Why would you want to live there.......... |

I spent three years in India and loved it. For the best state to live in, I would say either Kerela or Tamil Nadu, the south is cleaner and has better food, more space (less crowded), less poverty and Kerela has one of the highest literacy rates in the world. But if you want to live there you should definitely travel around first, then decide, India is very diverse and each state is different. You would have to visit them all to decide which one you thought was best. |

Each state has its own positives and negatives. It depends on what are your requirements, priorities and interests.
If you are looking for a relatively cleaner cities - South India
If you are looking for a relatively cooler city - Bangalore
If you are looking for nature - Kerala, Karnataka, North East
If you are looking for average cultural India - UP, Bihar, Rajasthan
and so on..... |

I live in Mumbai, Maharastra and according to me, it's good. But you know what, India has so many varieties and it's good to look at them all. And if you want to live in a particular place, it's upon you if you want to live in a city or a village..?? |

Kerala is the one with the highest percentage of literates. I've always wanted to go there. But more than that I want to leave the country forever.
AMERICA or JAPAN.
The only places that are worth being there in India are the IIT's, the IIM's, the AIIMS and the IISER. |

If you want natual beauty then go to Kerala, Assam.. far south or far east states in India or Himachal pradesh. |
