These are many sights in Bangalore. It's up to you to decide whether you want to visit one of the temples, such as the Bull Temple, go to one of the museums or relax in the park. After all, you've come to the garden city and it would be a shame to miss out on the quiet oases.
The Bull Temple
In this temple built by Kempe Gowda the object of veneration is a magnificent Nandi (statue of a bull), 15 feet tall and over 20 feet long. It is carved out of a single block of granite. In Nov/Dec every year, when the groundnuts have been harvested, a groundnut fair is held near the temple. The first groundnuts are offered by the farmers to the sacred bull.

I would recommend, Jayanagar IV, III, Gandhi Bazaar areas. These are like centrally located and you have easy access to every where. Another nice area is Kormangala.
Veg Restaurants: Just walk on the street in any of these areas and you have many restaurants, most of them only veg. The food in almost all of any decent looking hotel is very very good. Example, roti ghar in Gandhi Bazaar. |

South Bangalore is best. You got good malls, multiplexes, national park - Bannerghatta, multicuisine & specialty restaurants, good accommodation. You can stay in Koramangala which is also nearer to Airport, MG Road, Brigade Road, Commercial Street etc.
