It depends on where in India one is from. If your from South India, you are probably predisposed to think of North Indian, Hindi-speakers as snobby. On the other hand, individuals from North India in states such as UP and Bihar might view South India as snobbish and resilient against adoption of Hindi, the national language. Either way, you're bound to get a different answer from each. However, in the end, Indians are fairly open-minded.

It depends on your mind set .If I say you are snobby by writting this idiot question then how you feel .Similarly I deny there is no part in India is snobby .It is an individual matter various on person to person throughout the world

the caste system although abolished has made many think they are better than others in india. that is why. they still practice it even though it is "supposedly" illegal. the rich indians think they are above anyone.

Being snobbish is a global phenomenon. It depends on the individual. I was in several parts of India, and since I never used to intrude in others affairs, I never felt any one being snobbish with me.
