What do you mean by highest? Do you mean tallest? or situated at the highest location? Be specific. In Tamil Nadu we have huge and very tall temples built thousands of years ago with beautiful granite and stone sculptures.
If altitude you mean, then Probably Amarnath Lingam temple may be the highest or the Buddhist Monasteries in Leh may be highest. Buddhist also call then pagodas as temples.
