Actually the Santacruz station is the closest it will take you around 3o Rs. by rickshaw and 50 rs. by Taxi. You will reach there in 20 min. from there you can take a local to Dadar. which will again take 20 more min. Going directly to Dadar will cost you around 150-175 by Taxi and rickshaw dont go further then Mahim.

The distance from Inernational Airport to Thane and Dadar will be more or less the same. You cannot travel by Auto Rikshaw to Dadar as Auto Rikshahws are are not permitted to ply beyond Bandra to city side. The Taxi fare will depend upon the timingof the travel. The taxi fare after midnight before 6 a..m will be about 50% higher than the normal day fare. Normal day fare will be between 250 to 300 rupees. If you have to take Auto to Thane, you have to come out of the terminal and walk to Rikshaw stand, which will take about 3 minutes walking from the terminal. The Auto fare will be around 150 rupees.

Again it will depend upon exactly where you want to reach as Kurla Railway Station in the Central Railway and Andheri Railway station in the Western Railway are nearer to the Airport as compared to Dadar or Thane.

Andheri is a close station, and you can get a taxi from there. it would cost you around 100 rupee. 2$

Dadar station to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport shd be closer. U cant take rickshaw from Dadar only taxis will be available. Fare will be around 250 to 300 Rs. This is the regular fare if past midnight then fares will go up slightly although it wont be double. In case you want rickshaw then fare will be cheaper. Then you should take a taxi from Dadar and get down at maybe Bandra from where you can get a rickshaw to the airport.

from where you are coming?. Dadar is close to Andheri airport. by taxi they may take 70/80 approx. or you go to anderhi station and take a rickshw wch will be rs 25/30

check if your train stops at Kurla...

from ur question it looks like u seem to be arriving to bombay via the central railway.

Kurla on the central line is the closest. Auto from there should not cost you more than Rs.100 anyt time of the day.

Taxi from thane or Dadar will cost you 250 to 300 even if night charge is applied to you.

Please remember 8 pm in not night in bombay so if u r expecting the roads to be empty u should be talking of a time after 11.30 in the night...

after 11.30 in the night Dadar to airport should not take u more than 40 mins, Thane to airport not more than 50 mins, Kurla to airport in an auto 20 mins...

Dadar and Thane have different geographic locations heading for international airport just 25 to 30 min drive from Thane its same for dadar just 5 to 10 min difference.The nearest station
is Santacruz station if wanna go there by local train.
From dadar or thane u have to take taxi cost 200+ (night charges)to thane and less for the dadar. If u r heading from airport to thane then ask
taxiwala about toll -fare included fare or not.
At night after 12 they charge 1.5 times actual fare.
lots of BEST buses available from kurla,santacruz but from thane station limited connectivity of buses ,it depends on from which location ur heading for airport.
So if ur either heading or coming from airport then taxi is the best solution ,unless until u dont know about city

Santa Cruz station is the closest, but since you haven't mentioned the name; probably dadar.
