though ur obsevations are accurate, the biggest hurdle in way of harmoniousindia is her government. we have absolute illiterates sittin in the power chairs.people whose rap sheets are a mile long can easily manouver themselves into governing power, its no surprise then ,if donkeys are asked to be king.in the process the real lions the true kings read "educated people" have been systematically declawed. why do u think the brain drain happened. the smart people left the country governed by selfish donkeys |

For such a mass number of people below poverty line, this is not an easy task. The lives of people are definitely improving. Look at the middle class. In the recent years their incomes and standards have gone up. The effect of this shift from one economic class to the other is not felt because of the sheer growth in population. The problem is not just poverty, but at its root, it is the poplulation growth for which the govt. does not do its share. |

I am happy you asked this question. As a matter of fact I was looking for you the way you offended while putting me down on the last note.
The answer to your question is sheer corruption, favouritism amongst the big, lack of sensibility amongst the key holders. On top of that you are a nation not friendly to the world, not to your neighbours even. You always think Burma, Pakistan, China,Sri Lanka and your own Kashmir are your enemies. To protect yourself from these self-styled enemies, you are spending huge sums on defence and never take initiative to offer hands of friendship to any one. The propoganda you convey to general masses that Pakistan is not trustworthy and always backs out. For sixty years you have not been able to solve a problem of Kashmir with Pakistan, just realise how long will you take to take a dip. Perhaps never, the reason, any one takes an initiative to solve this issue, would be over-thrown, on either side and fresh baseless talks would start once again. It has been happening eversince and will stay just like that perhaps for another 60 years, with 2/3 wars again, and start again from the scratch. Was it an eye opening fact that the money thus wasted on wars, ammunation could well be spent on poor and uplift the society? No, these big people on these two sides are depositing their ill-gotten money overseas because they believe they are only in power temporarily and who knows where the fate will take them. Nawaz Sharif ex-PM and Bhutto have accumulated billions of Pounds in european banks, the casinos in EU countries and Las Vegas are full with government officers from India.
Think seriously and tell your friends, your companions to mobilise the society, not just sit and watch and ask just ask questions on Yahoo the reasons of this poverty. You people must do something through media, through films, through big news to have good relations with your neighbours to solve the core issues and dont just believe what your government says, it is the terrorists, it is the infiltrators from Pakistan, Kashmir and Sri Lanka upsetting you. The fact is when you cannot find the culprits you always accuse your neighbours for these nefarious activities. What a shame? This poverty of yours will go on and on for a very long time as you yourself are not in a position to teach lessons to your politicians, who are basically corrupt right from top to bottom. Dont feel offended, it is a fact, perhaps with broad vision you may reach a sensible decision. Dont be biased and only rely on your religious faith, it has to be material and reality in front, does'nt matter how long it takes yet your dream could be fulfilled not for you but for others to come. My all the prayers for you, atleast you thought of some thing and spoke of some thing otherwise all the indians believe Bharat Desh Mahan Hai, but no one says; in what way? |
