India is a vast country with lot of religion, culture and tradition, each state has it's own set of culture which are different from other states isn't it's interseting .... forest,mountains,rivers,falls,desert,sno... and thick greenary all under one country and above all people's love and caring for loved once and family, families sacrifice to youngones these are not found in any other country in the world...which we fail to understand because we try to live in nutshell.
India is a hidden treasure which only foreigners try to explore and document and later shown in History,National Geo or Discovery channels.
India indeed is a incredible |

Foreigners like it because they only visit the country for a short span of time and they don't face the scorching heat, extreme dirt & pollution and long time powercuts day after day & year after year like we do. |

Sorry for your prejudice that we don't find our country fascinating. I enjoy every part of the country that I have travelled to.
If rickshaw driver asks for 5 rupees more and u quarrel with him and that spoils ur pleasure of seeing Taj-Mahal, problem is with you.
you need to be a child to enjoy anything max. Try it once and then tell me. |

because familiarity breeds contempt.........India is a country where people tend to behave familiarly(u no what I mean)with everyhting........maybe its because of the climate or something... |

Because India represents everything that is exotic and different from what many tourists are used to. Some of this is holdover stereotype from the '60s wave- yoga, hinduism, the Taj Mahal and self-realization, but most is the simple fact that India has always had a very exotic cultural allure.
Its too bad India doesn't capitalize on this, and actually make it easier for tourists to visit. |

I think it stared back in sixties, the Marjaraja, yogis and the Beatles, Hari Kirsna.
Hippie, groovie, free love and peace man and ll the jazz.
A rebellious time, the young gerneration and that war in Vietnam may had been something to with it.
Rebelling against authority, their consevatives parents.
All may have been a flash in the pan but still left its mark. |
