Following western culture have been started since the time of British raj. They we were following European culture and now America culture. The main reason is our lack of self dignity and inferiority complex.

We all think FOREIGNER means superior to us, which ever country they are from and what they are capable of doing. We can not make difference between a American porter and American ambassador. Most of us think any goods coming from America is better than our own products.

but it's the younger generation that's leading india to more westernization. all the old folks hate it and want to preserve the indian culture, let me tell u that!

Change and development is inevitable and natural any where. But change beyond limits is crazy. So people are getting crazy, it started from metropolitan cities and North India and spreading to South India also.

Jaya bcoz Indians r fools.
we have such a rich culture.
we should not at all follow it.
look at the people coming from other countries to live, study and stay in India.
we should b proud of our culture n not follow others.

Iam not a fan of the western culture.But I think Indians need to be open minded and welcome changes.After all,even though we have completed 60 years of Independence,Our thinking still needs to mature and accept the change.

Even today in the 21st century. If a boy and a girl hold hands or even sit together in a hotel people stare at them,as if they re criminals.
PLEASE LEAVE THEM ALONE.

In short I`ll just say please preserve our rich culture but please have an open mind and dont be backward in thinking.
