india is developing. certain developments going slow because of politics, commission, and brokerage.

india is a developing country. no change in this word.

All leaders are saying. They said in 1950, They said in 1960,
They said in 2001, They said in 2006, certainly they will say in 2011 and 2020.

India is not lagging, infact it is a developing nation.
India has a huge population to feed, and hence the development needs and consumption needs are to be balanced.

India, like other developed nations cannot only think about Infrastructural development and Urban Enhancement, it needs to keep a regular check on the needs of the Rural Population and Rural sectors.

Since 70% of Indian population resides in Rural Areas, India is trying its level best to help them develop their amenities. Rural Development to a large extent will support the Overall Indian Development.

If you give your details then some one can answer properly. It is basically depends upon where you are standing. Compare with Countries in Gulf countries like Saudi , Many Eastern European countries Even Asian countries India is doing good.

Yes we have problems. Roads are are not fully developed or Transportation issues or Service issues. But change is coming.

India is not back on development as it is developing country.
And India got only 61 year of Independence and US got around 200 yrs.

Don't even think about that. India was not developing. Now it is developing in every field. Making progress. Haven't you heard about Chandrayaan. This is a proof of it.

I do not agree that India is back on development, but India is developing very fast and at steady rate, everything is going at nice way, main problem is fast growing 'POPULATION' when we divide total development with population everything goes down. If somehow we could control it everything will become fine.

India is still a developing country because India was ruled by many invaders over the centuries who took away all the treasures. India was so well known for its " The Golden Era ", which attracted the invaders, even Alexander the grate tried to enter but could not succeed. India got its independence in 1947, which had by then lost all its treasures to the British & it started its development after they left. But the self reliance policy which was implemented took a long time to bear its fruits hence India is not so well developed.
