India is a developing country. India is mainly run by politics. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If you go to the villages in India you will notice there is not pollution there and the air is clean. In the cities and developing towns you will notice pollution. This is due to the types of cars in India, and the street counditions. People do not follow the rules of the road. Not many people can afford good running cars. Most of the pollution comes from old vehicles and buses. The government of India is not really trying to improve the overall situation of the country (improving the roads, improving the legal system, traffic signs, quality of vehicles, employment for indian citizens, medical help, proper and reliable ambulance, and many other issues). You can not blam the population for hte pollution because majority of the population does not have access to technology. Pollution also comes from street ccrime and violence (burning of objects) and war. |

"Why is 'so' pollution in India" is a good question indeed.
Well we are a developing nation and cannot afford to use the less polluting methods because they are expensive and require more efforts.
Though this is decreasing. One example of this is the introduction of CNG buses in Delhi, which have cut down pollution to less than half. |

Indians themselves are responsible for the excess pollution particularly air, water and also noise pollution. We have many festivals which we celebrate and don't even bother about our environment. We have to be more conscious of the ill effects that our actions will have to our ecology. We need to open our eyes to this before it is too late specially for our future generations. They will never know "Clean air" and "Clean water" if we don't ACT now. |

because ...........................................
population is more so usage of fuels and oils are more ....
as people are more area is also big so transportation is more!
so more vehicles more pollution!!!
as the transportation is more roads are necessary! so to make roads we are chopping trees!! so no control over pollution!!!
and when Indians get married, people from other area should also hear the shehnaiya so there occurs noise pollution!!!
we are so intelligent in studies that almost 1 engineer will be there in each home so we are responsible for industrial growth too so more factories, air pollution!!!
we are proud to say WE ARE INDIANS!!! |
