India is a poor country. Everybody is after money.
The politicians are corrupted. They hire thugs to kill muslims and then tell the muslims that hindu are killing them and they hire thugs to kill hindu and tell the hindu that muslims are killing them. So Hindu and Muslim hate each other. (Just an example)
India is a place where people are LOOKING for a reason to kill eachother. If indian people unite, you never know what could be accomplished.

In order to preserve their own set of people nd their system of belief nd life ..they need to be harsher on their offsprings otherwise..mixture would cause dilution in the culture and ultimately there would not be a pure form of what was believed to be. Thats why intercaste is big no. However things are changing..nowadays parents seem to have less control over their kids choices..It might take a while but eventually..the caste system will fade away.
