scary??? i rather find your question scary! from the first minute i landed in india i found people beautiful and very friendly. i felt rather ugly myself but indian dresses helped me a bit.

guess you got a culture shock, so go again. second time you will understand more and enjoy, its gorgeous! its true you see many different faces in india so you can realize what a tolerant country it is, maybe learn from them. be inspired!

i have indian friends and yes, they are quite strange looking coz of their color, their hair is too black, and then their moustache also, and too dark and thick eyebrows and so well rounded black eyes.. you see all black that's why its quite strange, but well, they are nice... especially if you wear something short or flauting your skin, they'd like stare you as if you are some kind of a criminal...

normal is in the eyes of the beholder, in other words, if you lived in india your whole life, you would find them normal and others not.

Indians are scary looking becase they dont trust white skinned people, the poeple wo ruled India ruthlessly for more than 100 years and took away its wealth. Still the memories of looters remains in their mind.

its to do with the weather and culture, they would probably think we are weird looking if they came here (and many do)

Ohh my goodness sir, Why are you saying these terrible things about my race?

Yes !we are a lovely brown color in our skin and some are very hairy, mainly the women though, except if the man has a beard then it is about equal i think.

Some of us have a little red dot on our forhead to display our cast. But most times it is considered a thing of beauty as well as status.

We have lovely food to share, lamb curry with cucumber and yoghurt that keeps us regular and so our complexion is very good from removing many toxins that other races carry around for weeks.

Our eyes are large and as beautiful brown like those of the sacred cow. Our hair is long, and well oiled but clean from any nits or other nasties that Westerners seem to have.

Many of us are very fit as we swim or bathe in mother ganges every day. Our bodies are firm and we are well rounded to provide our men with comfort and warmth on cold nights.

Generally Westerners think our woman are stunning. Look at Ahwariya Rai. She is the epitome of the beauty of all Indian women. Our men are the most romantic people on the planet with good looks and very nicely formed bodies.
So how can you pudgy pale and sickly Americans say we are a funny looking people, do you have nor mirrors to take stock of your own images? Please make an apology for your most unkind thoughts of us.
