Why there are too much bank holidays in India? Is it bcoz they are lazy? Should this rubish system be chang?

as mentioned above I got disgusted by the system that follow in India. I can say this make our people laziest. I this our bank get nearly 60 bank holidays in a year. Should they give bank holidays in all seasons? I recently got disappointed because my international transaction was delayed for more that a week just because of these rubbish holidays, and this is not the first time I'm facing such problem. I think there should be control of such system. Otherwise I would advice everyone not to invest in Indian banks because their process is delayed coz of bank holidays. Let the Indian economy suffer and politicians should pay for this. I'll reconsider to invest in Indian bank. Is there anyone agree with me?

FYI... WE ARE NOT LAZY!

WE LOVE HOLIDAYS!

Oh and I dont agree with you!

Do you know how hard many people work to live in a shack?? I bet not so they are soooo not lazy!

Most people in india live on roadsides!

They work their butts off just to live in a shack, get crumbs of food, and to get a small glass of water.

So now do you think they are lazy???

I hope not!

i have seen women & children in India...digging holes, helping to build roads & breaking massive rocks up with tiny little claw hammers...they are one of the most hard working groups of people i have ever seen....i really disagree strongly with your statement that they are lazy!!

it is said that there is more unity among looters and freeloaders then among the efficient and hard working. it is the unions which dictate the terms to the management and the pathetic state of labour laws prevent any increase in efficiency and dedication. the management on the other hand being corrupt tends to acquiesce to the demands of the unions.

to gather they have a gala time at the cost of the public who has to depend on the banking system for their progress.

politicians on the other hand are the biggest defaulter of huge loans
and therefore do not take interest in improving the banking system.
it just needs one strong leader to take decisive action to sort out the
system. remember emergency by smt indira gandhi. trains ran on
time , all govt employees and bank staff were found on their seats
on time and working.

so now it is the citizens who have to decide whether to have a dozen prime ministers or a strong two party system.

i think one should vote only between two major parties and to no other thus compelling them to join one or the other.

Nationalisation of Banks spoiled the Banking system in India. They should be privatised once again.
