whats the point of it all? the focus shd be on poverty eradication ,child and maternal health, prevention of child labour, care of the enviornment (ban plastics,proper trtmnt of effluents, using envnmt frndly energy sources ) why is it imp to bcome a superpower and boss all countries like the us?

Simply because if you step out of India... all that we are known for are Call Centres and Terrible Customer Service.
To add to the above misery both Indians and the Indian Government are not contributing towards a positive image.
Religion and social differences challenge laws of democracy and make us look like Curry Driven Communists.
Come out of the box and you will see.

Why would they want to be? I would rather live in a country that uses the money for education and health care than spending it all on weapons so that the few at the top can have wars for their needs while all the others get killed in wars.
