No, there would be no end to corruption unless the basic standard of living indicators show betterment in India. And while we are working on it, it would take time.

RDB did raise some questions in the minds of young people, but the ending was so fantastic that I doubt people walked out questioning the system, instead they walked out discussing the movie and the music! So it was a great box office hit, but I doubt if it was effective in getting people to think.

What does the young generation need? Reinforcement from childhood not to indulge in or give in to corruption, right from school. How do we know that we need to look left and right before crossing the road? Someone told us when we were kids. Did anyone tell us that corruption is bad? No! And that is what needs to change.

Did you know when USA got its independence it had more currution than any country in this world? Sure it was more than 100 years ago, but still count as curruption. So yes I would think in about next 60-80 years there won't be much curruption. There still could be some but not too much.

The corruption in India can never end. Well we all gotta face it!!...It can be reduced but never end. Corruption can never end in any country i'm not talking abt only India. And abt the movie....its an awesome movie. But i really doubt it "awakend" a genenration!!...its just a movie afterall, its reel life and not real life!! You have an example of the Jessica Lal case. No one's willing to speak! But lets hope movies like these do bring some kind of awareness among the youth!!

Movies like Rang De Basanti or Yuva come and go away. The youth looses the inspiration as soon as they are out of the cinema halls.
The Indian youth has become immune to all this and this has only added to the problems of the country.

Well the answer is simple. We can improve India only by improving ourself.India is a democratic country,we make India otherwise India is just a mass of land.We all are a part of the problem. If the Governments are corrupt it is because we are corrupt, because it is us who form the government,it is us who vote the Government into power so it will definately have to be us who will have to clean the corruption from our own veins first and then expect a change in India. Therefore if you want to improve India improve yourself and India will follow! As far as Rang De Basanti is concerned it did have an impact on people but it can have a negative impact also as what they did in the movie is not the solution. You cannot just kill the Defence Minister of India whatever the reason. It is no joke. This is what the Naxalites do.By that token all of us should become Naxalites! That is definately not the solution is it?

I have grave doubts about that movie shaking any generation, especially the younger ones. The movie was fabulous and idealistic. The young generation is either too busy slogging for jobs, or partying hard. And please tell me where corruption is not present.

RDB WAS GOOD THOUGHT PROVOKING EXTREME MOVIE, BUT I DOUBT IT TRIGGERS A CHAIN REACTION TO KILL CORRUPTION. NO WHERE CAN CORRUPTION END, IT IS ONLY THE EXTENT, BUT DEFINITELY THERE IS GOING TO BE A DECLINE IN INDIA BUT STILL A LONG WAY TO GO.
