Journy is of 16 hours in bus. But you can taje KSRTC or private owned Buses.
But usually I prfer Train But Train jourrney is too boring. Once you reach Gulbarga or Raichur You will see lot of people jumping into First class or AC-I class. These guys are going to Bangalore for a strike or Dharna. It happened to me two times at least within last one year.

Hi! New Airavat Volvo air-conditioned buses have been introduced between Mumbai and Bangalore.It has been Introduced by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, these buses will ply daily.
Timings:- Departures from Mumbai: 3 pm and 4.30 pm. Arrivals in Bangalore: 11 am and 12.30 pm the following day.
Departures from Bangalore: 3 pm and 5 pm. Arrivals in Mumbai: 10 am and 1 pm the following day.
Fares:- The one-way fare is Rs 975 per person.

Its a 24hrs journey. If you can sit at the same place for 24hrs , Volvo is good. Better you take a flight. If you are looking for spending less money Best option is Train

I will not suggest to travel such a long distance by bus, be it Volvo or other buses.
The most confortable and reach-on-time travelling is by Train. That is best. In train you can move and enjoy. But in bus you will fell in a jail.
Trains are best. You can book in AC coaches from anywhere in India

If u want to send some time in bus then go by Volvo.....but its better 2 go by plane than bus..........
