I am an Indian, and I think there are many good people in Pakistan, but the general impression here is that the Pakistanis as a whole is trouble. There are many people who'd love to co- exist peacefully with you, and I think the informed of both the countries can take the initiative towards this.

I am planning to visit Karachi with my friend. She is of Pakistani origin and I am a white American guy. I am more than a bit concerned with the turmoil being reported there. But I do know many Pakistani people and I can say I have found them to be very warm people. There is trouble in the country for sure but I realize that 99% of it isn't caused by the rank and file. I could never condemn "the many" because of "the few". The common citizen has about as much input into the politics of their country as I had with my country's "bailout package"
