Hi, It's hard to say what you will like in Dublin, but i will try and help to give you some ideas. Take a tour bus they are on O'Connell St, they take you to all the main tourist locations and it's a hop on hop off bus all day, Guinness Factory is well worth a visit, at the end of the tour you go to the observation tower, there you get a free glass of Guinness or soft drink, and the view of the city is a 360 degree view it's amazing, also you will be able to send yourself and one of your friends an "e" picture of you in Guinness factory, Phoenix Park is lovely also Dublin Zoo is situated there. Go to the university, you can see the book of Kells. At night there is a ghost bus on O'Connell St, that takes you to all the spooky places in Dublin. the tour bus is approx 14 euros the ghost bus 20 euros). Have a look in the Post Office on O'Connell St, it takes you back in time. Henry St (next to Post Office) is fantastic for shopping. whatever you decide to do have a great stay i love Dublin. |

I'd love the 10 points but then you'd be missing out on half the fun. Check out this site.

I'd also recommend taking a day trip to see some of the rest of Ireland. Dublin's great but it's not that big.
Depending on what you're after (culture, history, sport, socialising etc) there are loads of things in Dublin and beyond worth checking out. |

What dates will you be here?
I've lived in Dublin my whole life but I love doing the touristy parts =)
You could visit the Phoenix Park (the number 10 bus from O'Connell street goes directly there). It is the biggest park in europe as far as I am aware, and amazingly peaceful for the middle of Dublin. While you are there you can see Arás an úachtarain (the Presidents house) and Dublin Zoo (was there last week, its been done up recently and they currently have two baby elephants and a baby rhino and few more). While you're up that end of the city, within about a ten minute walk is the Guiness brewery at James' Gate, as well as the Jameson Whiskey distillery. They have a huge tower which gives you an amazing view of the city.
Henry Street and Grafton Street are the main shopping areas, though Temple Bar is the best place for all of the random shops, and street entertainers.
If you want to visit the museums in Dublin there are 2 main ones I would recommend, the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery. Both are around Kildare street somewhere but you should probably look up further information.
Trinity College has probably got a good touristy rep. It has spacious grounds, and you can visit the Book of Kells. Trinity is located at College Green at the bottom of Grafton Street.
The Viking Splash tour is a bit of fun, where you get to go on a Viking Ship (opentop bus) wearing Viking helmets and get a tour of Viking Dublin. If you are staying in Christchurch you should probably pay a visit to Christchurch Cathedral, you can get a guided tour around the church, where Strongbow's coffin is located, as well as a shrunken head or two!On Sundays they still hold mass in Latin if that interests you. Right beside the Cathedral is Dublinia, which offers a Medieva/Viking experience.
If you get a chance, I would recommend gettin the DART out to Bray, it takes about 40minutes from the city centre. It is a small seaside resort, with a small aquarium, and a few amusement arcades. Enjoyable even when the weather is bad. One of those places you see kids, teens, adults and older people walking around all with smiles glued to their faces.
Hmm that should be enough. Hope you enjoy your stay anyway, and don't be too rigid about your plans. |

Dublin is a beutiful place to just walk around. Pick up a guide book and have a read up. I recently went there for a day trip and can#t wait to go back. The people are lovely.
You MUST try Guinness! |

you picked a very central place in Christchurch, well done. You are in walking distance of most of the tourist areas. 5 minutes away is Temple Bar area where all the pubs and craic is. bring loads of cash cause its expensive. 5+ euro a drink, 71/2 euro for 20 cigarettes. |
