Anone else in Ireland waited a month for letter from UK recently?

Postal strikes and all - I know there are delays, but I'm still waiting for a letter posted a month ago. Usually they take 2-7 days. Just wondering if anyone else had had this problem?

yep. gonna take a while for the strike thing to get cleared up.

It seems ridiculous but it is highly possible that it could take a month. I have waited two weeks and also one week for a letter from the North to reach Dublin!

check out if the strike is affecting the area where it was posted. It might just be lost. Sadly this has happened to me on more than one occasion.

geraldine
damn postmen, always got to ruin it for everybody lol

Tribbles
I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a C.D to come from eBay too!
Annoying isn't it?
But as well as the delays it is getting into the busiest time of year for the postal services too...only over two months to go until Christmas. Don't worry...you are not alone!
:)

I am in Ireland and I was told by my mum not to post her birthday cards over cos of the strike. It is her birthday on sunday but she is coming over in 2 weeks so we will have a belated party, but at least I know she will get her stuff! It usually takes 2 days to post stuff across, Royal mail should be ashamed of themselves!
