Viva La Eire!

Anyone else find it difficult to get home from a night out in Dublin?

I mean, if your going out to town, how the fu(k does dublin bus expect you to get home? WALK?

i was out the other day, last bus was at 11.30, no way was I leaving that early. Thought the 51 went into the early morning, it doesn't! was stranded in town and had to get a taxi home, cost me an arm and a leg. The night link isn't any use, it doesn't go even kinda close to my house and even if it did, I'd probably get stabbed on the bloody thing!

I've got a solution: Do your partying at home! Invite your buds over and then ya don't have to worry about it. Cheers!

*And watch your mouth! (Shaking my finger at you.)

Busybee is back!
ah you poor pet, did you not know that staying in is the new going out ?

I would rather walk than get the "fight link"
I live in Baldoyle and have had to walk home a few times after a night out!
I just go out in swords now....its cheaper and am guaranteed to get home at the end of the night!!
but if i was to get a taxi back from the city centre it cost me 30euro!!!

I had no idea there was that much crime in Dublin. I would have thought it was a quaint and lovely place to be. What in lands name is the 51? It sounds like a NYC subway and one of the worst.
Stay out until one of your pals goes home next time.
Peace & Love :)

Christine
You mean the 'fight link', LOL, where any thing can, and usually does happen.

I sometimes get the fight link to Lucan, and then get a taxi from there to my home. Or else just splash out the €30 on the taxi. But i agree the standard buses should keep on running till after 12.00.
