Would you? The idea of getting my lips closer to a filthy stone licked, kissed and spat by thousands of visitors is not my idea of hygiene. In fact, I found it repugnant.

I would recommend against it. Many local youths relieve themselves on the stone at night and laugh at the tourists who kiss it.
