I spend 10 days in Ireland last year and plan to go back at the end of July this year. The people are the friendlyest you will ever find. They go out of there way to make you feel comforable and to help out if you are lost or just help in general. The country side is an amazing mix of old and new. US history is 200 years, Irish history is more like 2000 years old, with old forts and buildings all over the place. Upon arriving back at JFK after leaving Ireland last year, I was imediatly hit by how rude and self centerd we are here in the US, and how very different that was in Ireland. |
