Apart from the Giant's Causway, what MUST I see in my four days in Northern Ireland?

I will be flying into Belfast airport, driving to Armagh (leaving Belfast for the end) , and then to Derry, then along the northern coast, ending up in Belfast. All in four days. If anyone can give me advice on what not to miss in the above places, or pubs to visit, or little known spots that charm, I would be appreciative. (Yes, I realize that this area in part of the UK, but it's Ireland to me).

dont concentrate so much on the what to see as the who to meet.

the locals up there are wonderful people. sit down and have coffee or a pint with them. great fun. bumped into 4 musicians from Limavady last year and had the best 48 hours of Craic i've had in 10 years. Portrush is beautiful for lunch and a pint. while driving on day one make sure to pass through the Sperrin Mountains of Tyrone/Derry. Gorgeous.

I should be doing something else

I agree with the above poster on the Folk and Transport Museum, its in Cultra (When you are leaving Belfast past the City Airport towards Bangor)

I would give the rope bridge a miss possibly. We did it last year, when we got to the other side it promptly started raining and we had to queue to get back. Maybe I'm just a spoilsport :)

Also while you are in Portrush/Portstewart, there are nice beaches there, and lots of nice little cafes.

In nearby Bushmills you can visit the ruins of Dunluce castle, The Dunluce Centre, and Bushmills Distillery.

Coming back towards Belfast, if you like history, you could visit Carrickfergus Castle.

When you get to Belfast I would recommend a black taxi tour. They take you around flashpoint areas in Belfast, plus Titanic quarter.http://www.belfasttours.com/about.htm

If you like history there's a museum near Belfast that you would enjoy. It's called the Ulster American Folk Museum and it's a large, outdoor museum. http://www.visitnorthernireland.com/opencontent/default.asp?itemid=75§ion=Attractions

Also, near the Giant's Causeway is the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge if you're feeling brave. http://www.discovernorthernireland.com/Carrick-a-Rede-Rope-Bridge-Antrim-Northern-Ireland-Ballintoy-Ballycastle-P2829

Oops, my first post has some misinformation. I meant to recommend the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, which is near Belfast. The Ulster American Folk Park is in another part of the country. Sorry about that.

The only thing I'd add to the lists above is the Armagh planetarium (especially if you're going to be in Armagh anyway).

http://www.armaghplanet.com/

It's a must if you like space (or science) and or have children. It has to be my one of favourite places here (in NI).

Also the Mournes (mountains) have some spectacular scenery and walks (if that's what you're into).

My favourite historic pub in Belfast is The Crown, on Gt Victoria Street

http://www.belfastpubtours.com/

The Empire (on Botanic Avanue) has some really good comedy nights

And Katy Dalys is the best place to go for music (Imho).

I second visiting the Crown in Belfast. Go early so you'll have a chance at a snug (booth).

Leave yourself time to relax and enjoy what happens as it happens.

You must go to West Belfast where they think it is OK to wear pyjamas as daily wear out in the street. Marvellous creatures.
